For those of you who don't know me too well yet, let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Los Angeles and I have B. A. in Graphic Design and an A. A. in Architecture Drafting and studies in Web Design.

Hobbies include woodworking, computers, travel, camping, hiking, fishing, rock climbing and cycling.

I'm the Director of the Technical Communications Department for an outdoor lighting company.

Hightlight Event

The day I proposed to Allyson was on New Years Eve aboard the Queen Mary. We went swing dancing with a bunch of her friends. We had a great dinner and danced a few times. I wanted us to be by ourselves and was planning how to ask her. As the evening progressed, Allyson showed me around the ship. Meanwhile I was scheming the proposal plan. I thought to myself, darn this is going to be hard.

Thirty minutes later, right before we had to go back, I spied a spot on the ship. i decided then there was no way I was going back without asking her the big question. On the way back, I told Allyson that I wanted to go back to the starboard side of the ship. Allyson said she was tired and her feet where hurting her and she wanted to go back. But I grabbed her hand .......

I found my spot and I lead Allyson there. I took her hands and asked her. "Can this get any better honey?" Allyson replies "No I don't think so." I took a deep breath and my heart was racing. I told her "I think it can. (By now I forgot to get on my knee and I even forgot what I wanted to say to her) I told her she was the love of my life and that she was someone very special in my life, and then I asked her if she would marry me.
Well it took several seconds before Allyson answered; in fact she looked up at the stars before she gave her answer, then she said YES!!!!
